Pete's Birthday Card

It's been a couple weeks since I have posted a card or visited your blogs.  I am kinda taking a break from blogging and card making (only making the necessary ones for family).  We also adopted 2 kitties a month ago.  They are outside kitties and were semi feral, so I've been trying to tame them.  They are coming around and let me pet and scratch them on THEIR terms!  They are SO FUN to watch play!

On to my card...My brother's birthday is tomorrow and he is a huge NASCAR fan.   My inspiration was one I saw on Pinterest!  I bought race car box card file from the Silhouette Store and cut out on my Cameo.  The gears is a stamp I made on my Silhouette Mint using Steampunk Cogs file and different colors of ink.  The checkerboard paper I Googled and the cardstock is from my stash.  The sentiment was computer generated.

Cali is on the left and Trixi is on the right!

Chase's Graduation

Hi Friends!  Sorry I haven't been to your blogs.  Last week we were in PA for some family things.  I spent 2 days at my parents going thru things as we have a buyer for their house.  Oh the memories there and the things you find!  I wish I could ask my mom about several different things...especially who people are in pictures!  Friday was very emotional, as it was the last time I would be in my childhood home.

On to my card!  Our daughter's boyfriend is graduating college tomorrow and this is the card I made for him.  I'm VERY pleased with how it turned out and I'm sure he will LOVE it!  The top right pic is a box I made to put it in.  Most everything was cut on my Cameo or I used a die cut...except the numbers and my friend cut them on her Cricut

Happy Mother's Day to all!

Anniversary

Today's card is for my brother in law and sister in law's anniversary.  They are going though some rough times and I thought a humorous card would put a smile on their faces.  He found out 2 months ago his cancer returned.  He finished radiation last week and should start chemo in the next couple weeks.  His prognosis looks good, but it is still scary!

Katie's Birthday

I hope everyone had a nice Easter!  Both my kids were here along with my two grandpups!  It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend!  Us girls did some crafting, my daughter wanted a couple things cut from vinyl, and my DIL made me a pressing pillow to use with my heat press.

Today's card is for my niece's birthday next month.  She is a freshman in college and is loving college life!  I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming!  I chose GP Jeans girl from Bugaboo, but couldn't find her in the store.

Baby Onesies

I finally convinced my hubby that I needed a heat press!  Actually it was my sweet daughter that convinced him!  Both my daughter and daughter in law are school teachers, so I'm sure they will keep me busy making shirts!  And hopefully in the next year or so I will have a grandbaby to make all sorts of adorable things for!  Here are my first creations using the heat press!

My childhood best friend will welcome her first grandchild sometime in April.  So of course, I thought he would need some adorable onesies to wear!  The "suspender" one is from a tutorial by Melissa at Silhouette School and the bow tie and pocket were a freebie from Silhouette School, too.  The Steelers logo is one I traced in Silhouette Studio and cut out.  I also put their last name on the back.

These next onesies are for a good friend who is welcoming her FIRST granddaughter...she already has three grandsons!  The necklace is a freebie from Kelly at Finding Time to Create.  I used a bow instead of a flower like she used.  The sparkle and initial were inspiration from Pinterest and the unicorn was a Google search.
