QKR Stampede Challenge #154 Cowboys

WOW...did August FLY by or what?!?!  It's time for a new challenge over at QKR Stampede and this week our theme is Cowboys, but I chose image #10002 Cowgirl.  She is colored with copics and has yellow stickles on the stars.  I printed and cut out her gloves so it looks like she's holding the rope that is brown waxed thread.   Layout is for Mojo Monday Challenge #412.  Rebel teal distressed paper by Glitz Design, red handkerchief paper by The Paper Studio, and kraft paper from my stash that I rolled thru a crinkler to look like cardboard (idea I got from Pia).  The red star clips are from my stash and walnut distress ink around all papers.

    There are some really great elements on this card that support the cowboy (girl) theme perfectly, like the lasso and the red patterned paper and corrugated cardboard. Super cute!
