QKR Stampede Challenge #181 - Recycling
Guess what?!?! That's right, time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede and this week it's Recycling! I chose image #13503 Alley Cat. The recycled part...I colored this image for our "Midnight Snack" challenge back in September and decided I didn't like it, so I recolored one. I found him in my colored images stash and decided it would be PURRRFECT for this challenge! Not sure why I didn't like him then, but I am sure happy to find him for this week! He is colored with copics and cut out with Lawn Fawn large stitched squared die. Glossy accents for his eyes, the trash can handle, and lid handle. Layout is for Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #437. Orange citrus double dot paper by Bo Bunny, striped and solid green from The Paper Studio Glasses, Staches & Ties pad, and brown cs from my stash. Vintage Photo distress ink, computer generated sentiment, cut out with SB large circles die, and matted with SB large scalloped circle die.
Stop by QKR Stampede's challenge blog to see all the recycling my DT sisters have done and join our fabulous challenge! The prize for winning is 2 digital images of your choice, but if you use a QKR image you will win 3 digital images of your choice! Hope to see you there!

So very cute, Brenda. I love how you colored the cat, he looks great. He looks quite satisfied now that he has his belly full. I wish he would teach our cat how to use the garbage can instead of leaving his little surprised on our porch. :)
ReplyDeleteHe sure is one sweet guy with one [smelly] fish! LOve this fun image Brenda..FAB colours. Great take on the sketch and super sentiment.
